QA Engineer - Data & Analytics

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: Banking

• Remuneration: up to 110 PLN/h netto + VAT (B2B)

• Location: 2-3/week in the Gdańsk, Gdynia, or Warsaw offices

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester with extensive experience in Data Warehouse testing, particularly within the Snowflake platform. This role involves validating complex data flows and ensuring data integrity while collaborating effectively with development teams. The ideal candidate should be ready to deliver immediate results and demonstrate expertise in SQL, dbt testing, and Test Automation.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Integrating quickly into ongoing data testing processes.

• Validating and verifying complex data flows.

• Ensuring data accuracy in compliance with project deadlines.

• Collaborating with development teams to address and resolve testing issues.

• Automating data validation processes in Snowflake.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in data warehouse testing, specifically with Snowflake and AWS.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, testing, and validating large datasets.

• Familiarity with Snowflake-specific features such as Time Travel, zero-copy cloning, and scaling performance.

• Adept at quickly understanding and integrating into existing data warehouse architecture and workflows.

• Experience in creating automation scripts for data validation processes in Snowflake.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience with Javascript/Typescript.

• Familiarity with Playwright.

Other Details

This position is open for candidates in Poland, preferably in the Gdańsk/Gdynia area, with consideration for candidates in Warsaw as well. The role is structured under a Try & Hire model, with a potential transition to a permanent position after a few months without additional charges.
