Assignment Overview: As an Assignment Manager within bus development your daily task will be to lead cross- functional work groups mainly for bus chassis assignments (Field Quality). You will work closely with field quality, procurement, design, production, suppliers and others. When needed, market actions are also done to support our customers together with the field quality department.
This role will develop your leadership skills, give a broad knowledge and network as well as good understanding of how our buses are operated at the end customers.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the project teams that you manage
Facilitate root cause analysis and together with the team define the root cause
Set the time plan together with the team and secure that work progresses accordingly, escalate when needed
Coordinate and secure the introduction of solutions developed by your teams
Be active in our groups improvement work concerning tools and processes to secure efficiency and shorter lead- times for our customers
Education (Must Have/Nice To Have): You have a MSc or BSc degree with 4-6 years’ experience of product development including project management. It is meriting to also have project management education or certification.
Experience (Must Have/Nice To Have): You have prior experience from working as a Project or Assignment Manager within Automotive.
Language: You are fluent in English and preferably also speak Swedish (not a must).
Personal/Soft Skills: As a person you are motivated and structured, like to co-operate with others and take the initiative. You also enjoy independent work, are good at communication and dare to be demanding.
