Project Manager- Sharepoint/ Alfresco

Summary: The Senior IT Project Manager will lead the Alfresco Workstream within the Records and Information Management Programme, focusing on enhancing the management and governance of enterprise information assets through large-scale data migration and system integration.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Workstream within the RIM Programme, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering data migration, application integration, testing, and deployment activities.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including data migration specialists, solution architects, business analysts, and third-party vendors.

• Oversee all aspects of data migration, including mapping, validation, quality assurance, and sign-off.

• Manage complex stakeholder relationships across IT, business, and compliance teams to ensure alignment.

• Provide clear and structured reporting to programme governance forums and senior management.

• Anticipate and manage risks related to data quality and change control.

• Facilitate collaboration and communication across distributed teams.

• Ensure all project activities align with information governance, security, and compliance standards.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years’ experience in IT project management.

• Strong background in data migration and content management system implementations.

• Proven experience delivering large-scale IT or business transformation projects.

• Strong understanding of data migration methodologies.

• Experience with Alfresco, SharePoint, or similar platforms.

• Excellent stakeholder and team management skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Track record of managing technical delivery teams.

• Familiarity with structured project management methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in regulated or large-scale public sector environments.

• Understanding of information governance and records retention frameworks.

• Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile project management.

• Experience with enterprise-wide data management programmes.
