Project Manager – Information Security
emagine is looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong experience within Information Security and enterprise project delivery.
Summary:
The Project Manager for the Information Security department will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving delivery of security-related initiatives across a large international organisation. The role ensures that initiatives supporting security posture, compliance, risk reduction, and capability maturity are delivered effectively, on time, and with clear stakeholder alignment.
The consultant will work closely with Information Security, business stakeholders, and programme management to support structure, transparency, and predictable delivery across multiple parallel initiatives. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on coordination, governance, reporting, stakeholder alignment, and execution across the security function.
Main Responsibilities:
Lead delivery of security initiatives from initiation through implementation and into business as usual activities
Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones tailored to security initiatives
Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, infrastructure, compliance, and external vendors
Track progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery of agreed outcomes and expectations
Facilitate decision-making and remove blockers to maintain project momentum
Provide structured updates to security leadership and stakeholders
Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and cross-team alignment meetings
Maintain delivery-related documentation, status reports, and dashboards
Support portfolio-level reporting and prioritisation discussions
Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, governance practices, and workflows within the security function
Key Requirements:
Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in large enterprise environments
Strong planning, coordination, and organisational skills
Experience with Agile, hybrid, or traditional project management methodologies
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Experience working within Information Security, Cyber Security, IT, or compliance-related environments
Understanding of security domains such as vulnerability management, identity & access management, cloud security, or incident response
Familiarity with ISO27001 and similar frameworks
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to influence and drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project tracking tools
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, etc.).
