As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining and developing our IIS-based platform services, ensuring they remain secure, stable and high performing. Your core goal is to deliver reliable platform solutions that meet both internal and customer needs.
Operate, maintain, and enhance IIS-based platform services.
Configure and troubleshoot IIS sites, bindings, and application pools.
Manage security tasks including certificates and TLS settings.
Monitor platform performance and resolve incidents effectively.
Automate recurring operational processes to increase efficiency and reliability.
Contribute to the management of Java Application Servers and middleware on Windows and Linux.
Translate technical requirements into practical platform solutions, ensuring compliance and documentation.
Experience in operating, maintaining and developing our IIS-based platform services.
Solid understanding of Windows Server environments.
Good working knowledge of Linux at an operational level.
Expertise in PKI, certificate management, and secure communication setups.
Strong background in platform operations and incident resolution.
Experience with Java Application Servers such as WebSphere, JBoss/WildFly, or WebLogic.
Experience with automation tools like Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Understanding of CI/CD concepts and infrastructure automation.
Good communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in customer-facing environments.
