Platform/DevOps Engineer – Azure APIM, Auth0 & Infrastructure Automation

Introduction & Summary:

We are in search of a highly skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer proficient in Azure API Management (APIM), aiming to enhance our API infrastructure through automation and security. This role demands expertise in Auth0 integration, Azure Key Vault management, and the use of Terraform alongside Azure DevOps Pipelines. The successful candidate will also facilitate a structured knowledge transfer process to our internal teams.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure APIM infrastructure using Terraform and Azure DevOps Pipelines.

• Integrate Auth0 with APIM for secure OAuth2-based authentication and authorization.

• Implement and enforce governance policies, naming conventions, and tagging strategies.

• Automate provisioning of APIs, policies, products, and subscriptions.

• Manage secrets and certificates using Azure Key Vault.

• Ensure secure and scalable networking configurations, including private/public endpoints and Azure Front Door (FD).

• Collaborate with internal teams to onboard APIs and services into APIM.

• Provide training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to internal platform and development teams.

Key Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM) in production environments.

• Proficiency in Terraform for Azure infrastructure provisioning.

• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML-based CI/CD).

• Solid understanding of OAuth2, Auth0, and API security best practices.

• Experience with Azure Key Vault for secrets and certificate management.

• Good understanding of Azure networking, including private endpoints, public access, and Azure Front Door.

• Scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash.

• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with policy automation in APIM (e.g., JWT validation, rate limiting).

• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

• Exposure to DevSecOps practices and secure API lifecycle management.

Other Details:

This position operates under a remote work model with occasional work from office based in Poznań/Warsaw.

The assignment is available for immediate start, on a full-time basis, with a competitive B2B rate of up to 220 zl/h.
