Network SME

We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) to contribute to a new project involving the development of a network from the ground up. The selected candidate will play a critical role in designing a robust network infrastructure as we carve-in a new site. This position requires a dynamic individual with expertise in Cisco SD-WAN and Juniper switches, capable of leveraging their skills to ensure efficient network deployment.

Main Responsibilities:

The Network SME will dedicate a total of 40 hours to the project, focusing on the following:

• Reviewing floor plans to understand the site layout.

• Creating a comprehensive network design including a wifi heatmap and AP placement.

• Developing a network diagram to visualize the design.

• Configuring delivered hardware upon arrival.

• Updating documentation to reflect the new network architecture.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Network SME.

• Familiarity with Cisco SD-WAN and Juniper switches.

• Experience in creating wifi heatmaps and network designs.

• Proficient in configuring and documenting network setups.

• Knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in remote network project execution.

• Ability to provide ongoing support and consultancy.

• Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently.
