The main purpose of this role is to provide expertise in network consulting, assisting in designing and implementing network infrastructures that align with the business needs of client.
Main Responsibilities:
The Network Consultant will be responsible for ensuring the effective design and implementation of network infrastructure.
Travel to client sites to understand their network infrastructure.
Perform quality reviews of ongoing or newly deployed network implementations.
Create solution designs, estimations, and technical documentation.
Implement solutions and conduct tests with customers.
Engage in ongoing problem-solving regarding network issues.
Participate in agile ceremonies and create/update user stories.
Attend cooperation meetings with stakeholders and outsourcing partners.
Key Requirements:
University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
Cisco CCNP Enterprise/Security certification.
Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise network infrastructures.
Competencies:
Knowledge of physical, virtual and hybrid network environments.
Knowledge of Cisco network environment, and proven experience in designing and implementing/refreshing enterprise network infrastructures.
Experience in enterprise wireless design and deployment (WLCs, APs, RF planning, wireless security).
Familiarity with Cisco ISE for policy-based network access (advantage).
Practical knowledge of SolarWinds Orion NMS for performance monitoring, alerting, and reporting.
Competence in Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center) for automation, provisioning, and assurance.
Competence in Panorama centralized management (templates, device groups, shared policies) (advantage).
Problem Solving mindset and ability to collect, and interpret logs and network data to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Broad range of expertise such as to read and validate local network documentation, collect and analyze business and technical requirements.
Having a solid business process understanding, allowing you to engage in dialogue with your business owners .
Nice to Have:
Palo Alto Networks PCNSE or equivalent certification.
Knowledge of ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management framework.
Agile/Scrum/Lean methodologies experience.
Industry certifications:
Cisco CCNP Enterprise / Security (required).
Palo Alto Networks PCNSE or equivalent (nice to have).
ITIL Foundation or equivalent service management framework knowledge.
Agile / Scrum / Lean knowledge (is a plus).
