MS SQL DBA

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced MS SQL DBA who will join to the IT Operations, your primary and most important responsibility, alongside your colleagues, is to ensure that the organization’s database environment remains secure, reliable, and performs optimally. You will also handle standardized tasks such as granting permissions and creating databases.

The team consists of 45 members, including 17 in Poland, with dedicated Monitoring and Virtualization specialists. The DBA team comprises 7 experienced professionals specializing in both Oracle and MS SQL.

Main Responsibilities:

• Resolving tickets in our ITSM system.

• Implementing changes to the database environment

• Ensuring adherence to guidelines and best practices

• Contributing to the development and automation of database services

• Preparing and maintaining the necessary documentation

Key Requirements:

• Relevant educational background in Computer Science with a minimum of 4 years’ of experience in MS SQL Database Administrator role.

• Solid Experience with MS SQL.

• Hands-on experience with ITIL practices.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of MS SQL in a Azure cloud environment is an advantage.

• Knowledge of PowerShell is beneficial.

• Experience from major database installations

Other Details: The position is based in Warsaw, hybrid setup.

Position would require, from time to time, to work outside traditional hours - due to shifts or deployments.
