ROLE SUMMARY:

The Mobile Tech Lead plays a vital role in overseeing the technical delivery and mentorship of the React Native development team, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, and building sophisticated mobile solutions for both iOS and Android platforms.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

As the Mobile Tech Lead, you will be responsible for the technical direction and management of the development team.

• Ownership of technical delivery for the React Native development team
• Lead and mentor React Native engineers
• Communicate on behalf of the development team to stakeholders and cross-functional partners
• Build and support mobile journeys using React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Integrate with backend services and third-party systems
• Utilize API-driven architectures, event-driven patterns, and microservices
• Develop, maintain, and support interfaces using APIs and microservice patterns
• Use SCM tools (Bitbucket/GitHub), CI/CD, and Nexus for artifact management
• Follow Agile & DevOps methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Translate business requirements into deliverables in collaboration with Business Analysts and Product Managers

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pod lead/Tech lead experience
• React Native expertise
• Modern JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency
• Native mobile development experience (Swift, Kotlin, Java)
• Integration experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven backends
• Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Understanding of mobile security best practices
• Strong Agile methodologies knowledge.
• Nice to have:
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Familiarity with cross-platform mobile development tools
• Certifications related to mobile security or software development
