Mid Product/Business Analyst

Introduction & Summary:
As a Product/Business Analyst, you will be tasked with gathering and analyzing business needs, translating them into precise functional specifications, and ensuring consistency between business expectations and technical outcomes. Your role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones, serving as a crucial link between business and technical teams throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will report to the Technical Team Lead and work closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, QA Engineers, and Developers to facilitate the success of various initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
As a Product Analyst, you will hold a pivotal role in the business analysis process. Key responsibilities include:

• Gathering business requirements and evaluating them in terms of business value and ROI.

• Conducting impact assessments and identifying dependencies.

• Creating detailed business analyses that outline problems, opportunities, and solutions.

• Writing and updating functional specifications (FUS), wireframes, business rules, and data migration plans.

• Ensuring clear communication of specifications to both business and technical teams.

• Supporting QA and Test Managers in defining test strategies and verifying business requirements.

• Reviewing functional implications of technical decisions.

• Facilitating decision-making and resolving conflicts related to requirements and solution design.

• Leading workshops and design sessions to gather input and foster alignment.

• Acting as a subject matter expert on the business side of digital solutions.

• Contributing actively to the Business Analyst Community of Practice.

• Participating in Agile ceremonies as applicable (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, grooming, reviews, retrospectives).

Key Requirements:
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a Business Analysis role.

• Proven experience in writing functional specifications and user stories.

• Solid understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong stakeholder management skills in matrix or project-based organizations.

• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Zephyr.

• Familiarity with e-Commerce or content platforms is a plus.

• Knowledge of service delivery and IT project management practices.

• Technical aptitude and ease working in technology-driven environments.

• IIBA certification is a plus.

• Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Clear and professional communication across multicultural teams.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced Agile environment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French or other languages is an advantage.

• Familiarity with digital marketing and UX design.

• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
