Mid-Level Data Engineer (Azure + Databricks)

This position seeks a skilled Data Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience specializing in Azure Data Services and Databricks. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in SQL and Python, along with a solid understanding of data modeling and architectural patterns.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data engineering solutions on Azure platform.

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.

• Implement data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL.

• Utilize Databricks for big data analytics.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity.

• Optimize existing ETL processes for improved performance.

• Conduct data modeling for complex datasets.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL).

• At least 1 year of experience with Databricks.

• Proficiency in SQL and Python (minimum 4 years).

• Experience with Data Lake.

• Knowledge of data modeling and architectural patterns (e.g., Data Vault, Medallion, Data Mesh).

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with other cloud platforms.

• Experience in machine learning and data science.

• Knowledge of data governance practices.
