Role: Master Data - Business Analyst

Location: Bangkok, Thailand (2nd choice - Singapore or India: remotely with business travels to Thailand)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Length: 6 months + prolongations

Work Schedule: 5 days/week: 3-4 days/week on-site + 1-2 days/week remotely

Business Trips: n/a

Contract: B2B/as a freelancer - you can sign as the owner of your own company or as a sub-contractor of your relative/friend who owns their own company

Summary: The Master Data - Business Analyst role focuses on supporting the project by providing expertise in gathering business requirements and facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, particularly in the supply chain and manufacturing domain.

Main Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business requirements related to master data processes.

• Perform process mapping and gap analysis for data gathering activities.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver project goals.

• Develop a strong understanding of master data domains such as materials, vendors, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routes.

• Provide insight stemming from a functional understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes.

Key Requirements:

• Strong functional understanding of supply chain/manufacturing, ideally within the metals or materials domain.

• Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements.

• Proven skills in process mapping and gap analysis.

• Familiarity with master data domains (materials, vendors, BOMs, routes, etc.).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Proactive and hands-on attitude.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in SAP programs.

• Previous experience working in senior-level positions in business analysis.

• Experience within the metals or materials industry.
