The Lead Network Engineer role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and security of network solutions at CloudOps, where a team of 20 engineers supports over 3000 servers across various cloud environments. The primary objective is to modernize and optimize network infrastructure to support vital SaaS products with minimal downtime.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor, troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of network solutions for nearly 100 SaaS products.
• Modernize network solutions for essential SaaS offerings.
• Implement Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) for network solutions across all SaaS products.
• Enhance documentation quality and governance for network solutions.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and operations of network components.
• Ensure compliance with best IT Security measures and organizational standards.
• Communicate complex networking concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Proven technical leadership experience in networking within cross-functional, multicultural environments.
• Experience in designing networks for high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) with accompanying documentation.
• Extensive experience in Fortigate firewall administration and BGP routing.
• Strong understanding of MPLS, VPN/SSLVPN, Site2Site VPN, and network layers.
• Knowledge of using Fortigate API for automation.
• Experience in networking troubleshooting (HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, Routing & Switching, Load Balancing).
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud network concepts and technologies.
• Solid understanding of security requirements and implementation patterns.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with advanced network security protocols.
• Knowledge of other cloud service providers' network configurations beyond Azure and AWS.
