About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Lead Developer to guide our development team in maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The Lead Developer plays a pivotal role in ensuring technical excellence, mentoring team members, and acting as a bridge between developers and stakeholders.
There will be no people management responsibilities, but they would need to be able to resource manage and drive a porting of each team to cover either „Normal intake”, „a specific project” or „Multiple minor projects” in all aspects of integration development.
The role requires both leading and development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate closely with the Tech Team to address issues or challenges raised during development.
- Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues within the team.
- Actively participate in Tech Team meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Monitor deadlines and escalate concerns to Product Owners or SRQ Owners when necessary.
- Present technical problems to the Tech Team and provide developers with detailed solutions.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team.
- Introduce and implement new solutions and practices recommended by the Tech Team.
- Facilitate communication between SRQ Owners and developers.
- Guide developers on estimating work, managing development timelines, and improving communication regarding estimates.
- Conduct Tech QA reviews for each SRQ within the agreed timeframes.
- Ensure that all features developed meet the highest quality standards.
- Mentor team members by demonstrating best practices and helping them improve their technical skills.
REQUIREMENTS:

IBM App Connect Enterprise 12+, Java, IBM MQ, Containers (Kubernetes), GIT
- Always ready to support team members with technical questions and attend Tech Team meetings.
- Strong communicator, capable of presenting technical solutions effectively.
- Comprehensive understanding of development practices and standards.
- Committed to ensuring that builds and documentation comply with internal standards, rules, and procedures.
- Dedicated to educating and mentoring developers in the team.
