Junior Test Manager

Summary

Work closely with other test leads / managers to ensure that all projects are governed in the same manner. Oversee the entire testing process to ensure software and system quality before release. Adhere to existing test strategies, manage the test resources, coordinating with stakeholders, and reporting on progress and risks. Plan and control testing activities, which can involve automating tests, defining quality goals, and ensuring that all team have a clear understanding of the test process and governance.

Work model: Mostly Remote (with 6 times per month onsite-Warsaw)

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire testing process for software and system quality.

• Ensure adherence to existing test strategies.

• Manage testing resources and coordinate with stakeholders.

• Plan and control testing activities including automation of tests.

• Define quality goals and ensure team understanding of test processes.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Experience in planning, scoping, and test analysis.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving mindset.

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning, particularly within Retail/Sales & Finance.

• Expertise in developing and implementing test strategies and plans.

• Knowledge of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with test automation tools and practices.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana modules, apps, and delivery protocols.

• Technical background with understanding of integration protocols.

• Knowledge of Load/Stress/Performance testing phases.

• Agile competencies.

• Business analysis and knowledge elicitation techniques.

• Customer-facing experience.
