We are seeking a Junior Quantitative Developer to support a Senior Quant Developer on a high-impact analytics modernisation initiative. This role offers hands-on exposure to real production systems, proprietary analytics libraries, and hedge fund-grade quantitative models.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to help re-engineer legacy spreadsheet-based analytics into robust, tested, and scalable Python components, gaining valuable experience in a front-office quantitative environment.
Implement Python-based analytics under the guidance of a Senior Quant Developer
Translate defined spreadsheet logic into clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Work within Coremont’s proprietary analytics framework and libraries
Support testing, validation, and automation of analytics components
Build domain knowledge across hedge fund analytics and financial products
Strong Python development skills
Graduate or early-career background in a quantitative discipline (e.g. maths, physics, engineering, finance)
Specialisation or strong interest in equities or rates
Basic understanding of financial models and relational/SQL-style data concepts
Exposure to analytical or quantitative frameworks
Familiarity with hedge fund or asset-management operations
12-month project with imminent funding approval
Focused on re-engineering legacy spreadsheets into production-grade Python components
Close collaboration with senior quantitative and engineering stakeholders
Excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real-world quantitative environment
