Java Performance Engineer

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Location: hybrid work (1 day a week from the office in Gdansk, Gdynia, Warsaw or Lodz)
• Remuneration: up to about 168 PLN/H net + VAT
• Start: ASAP (to be agreed)

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Application Performance Engineer to join our team. As a Java Application Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance and scalability of our Weblogic applications, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct performance testing and analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in java/weblogic application performance. 
• Develop and implement performance optimization strategies to enhance the speed, responsiveness, and scalability of java/weblogic applications. 
• Collaborate with software developers and architects to design and implement performance enhancements and optimizations. 
• Monitor and analyse web application performance metrics using monitoring tools and systems. 
• Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, both proactively and reactively, and provide recommendations for resolution. 
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web application performance engineering. 

REQUIREMENTS:.

• Proven experience as a Performance Engineer or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and performance optimization techniques.
• Proficient in performance testing tools and methodologies. (Jmeter).
• Experience with performance monitoring and analysis tools. (ex. AppDynamics).
• Experience with performance monitoring and analysis weblogic application.
• Familiarity with web server configurations and optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Temenos Core Banking would be an advantage, not mandatory.
