Java Developer (Evening Shifts 16.00-24.00)

Summary: This role is focused on enhancing the engineering processes within Customer Due Diligence applications, primarily through building and managing microservices in a remote work environment with flexible office visits.
Main Responsibilities:
You will be working closely with the CIB Client Services Engineering Leadership team, helping drive the engineering transformation across our Customer Due Diligence applications.
You will be building solutions using microservice architecture, working closely with the product team to understand requirements and impact of changes being made.
You will be expected to lead by example, delivering solutions at high cadence for the build-out of both new functionality and the replacement of legacy systems.
You will be working to release changes to production every day, owning requirements through discussions with the business through to development, testing, release to and support of production.
You will be driving engineering excellence and the strong engineering culture across our teams.
Key Requirements:
Experience building applications using non-breaking principles, particularly in developing RESTful APIs.
Experience developing microservices using highly iterative methods to deliver change to production regularly.
Experience working with Java, preferably more recent versions (17 and greater).
Experience building and managing database schemas using PostgreSQL.
A keenness to learn new skills and technologies as the role requires.
Nice to Have:
Experience delivering microservices without using frameworks like SpringBoot.
