IT Tester (Java)

Project Information:

• Location: Warsaw/Gdańsk/Gdynia; hybrid work 1 day per week in the office
• B2B: up to 120-130 zł/h
• Duration: long-term

Main Responsibilities:

The IT Tester will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and performance of our clients’ systems. The main responsibility includes:

• Conducting thorough testing of system changes related to transaction monitoring.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to draft, document, and test modifications.
• Identify, assess, and report potential impacts of changes on the system.
• Execute automated test scripts using tools such as Cucumber and Selenium.
• Maintain comprehensive test reports and track defects through to resolution.
• Conduct database testing utilizing DB2/SQL technologies.
• Participate in Agile processes, including daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Foster clear communication with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Continuously seek improvements in testing methodologies.
• Proactively identify risks and dependencies affecting project success.

Key Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in IT testing roles.
• ISTQB certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience with various testing methods including functional and regression testing.
• Proficiency in technologies like Cucumber, Selenium, Jenkins, Java, Mainframe and JIRA.
• Experience with DB2, Oracle, and database testing.
• Demonstrated ownership of quality processes in previous roles.
• Strong command of English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced working environments.
• A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science).

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with transaction monitoring systems.
• Background knowledge in Java or Mainframe technologies.
