Introduction & Summary

A highly capable Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in SQL and Python, complemented by a working knowledge of Power BI. With a strong track record in investment banking, particularly in Product Control IT, this role emphasizes engagement in both run-the-bank (RTB) operations and strategic project initiatives. The candidate will play a key role in streamlining product control reporting across multiple entities, delivering data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Main Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day RTB activities for Product Control IT, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of reports to Risk and Finance.

• Lead and contribute to projects, including the consolidation of reporting platforms across three legal entities.

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, apply business logic, and collaborate on Power BI dashboards to improve analytics and reporting.

• Gather and refine requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders from Risk, Finance, and IT; design and implement process improvements.

• Run meetings, workshops, and training sessions to facilitate communication, knowledge sharing, and adoption of new tools/processes.

• Support onboarding of new financial products, regulatory change initiatives, and automation efforts as needed.

Key Requirements

• Extensive experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on Product Control or Finance IT.

• Advanced skills in SQL and Python; Power BI is a plus.

• Solid understanding of financial instruments and control frameworks across various asset classes.

• Proven ability to manage RTB responsibilities while driving delivery on strategic projects.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading cross-functional engagements.

• Background in process improvement, regulatory reporting, and delivering in high-pressure environments.
