IT Security Specialist - Active Directory

emagine is looking for an IT security specialist to manage Active Directory environments for our client in Stockholm

Start: Asap, 1 year contract with possibility to extension

Location: Stockholm, Södertälje

Utilization: 100% - full time

Description:
Role focused on managing and maintaining Active Directory environments, ensuring stability, security, and integration across systems. The position includes automation, troubleshooting, and collaboration with various IT teams to support infrastructure and identity-related initiatives.

Scope:
Manage and maintain Active Directory environments, including ensuring domain controller health, replication, DNS integration, and supporting hybrid identity solutions involving Entra.

About the role:
The role involves responsibility for the administration and optimization of Active Directory environments, including security, automation, and troubleshooting. It requires close collaboration with IT operations, network, and security teams, as well as participation in infrastructure-related projects, system upgrades, and disaster recovery planning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Active Directory environments.
- Ensure domain controller health, replication, and DNS integration are functioning optimally.
- Implement and monitor AD security policies and access control measures.
- Support hybrid identity solutions involving Entra.
- Perform troubleshooting of the environment.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
- Collaborate with IT operations, network, and security teams to support infrastructure projects.
- Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and disaster recovery planning.

Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience administering Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS).
- Strong understanding of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.
- Familiarity with Entra.
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) principles.
- Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Experience working in enterprise or multi-domain environments.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred / Meriting:
- Swedish language skills.
