Senior IT Security & IAM Consultant(B2B)

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on IT security, compliance, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) topics.

• Lead and support security risk analyses and threat assessments at application and project level.

• Develop IT security concepts, including risk assessments, security controls, and compliance measures.

• Drive IAM initiatives with a focus on roles and rights discovery, authorization concepts, and user/application onboarding.

• Align with application owners and business stakeholders to understand existing role structures, challenge them where needed, and guide the application of central IAM templates.

• Consult business and technical teams on how to fulfill authorization requirements and support them through the onboarding process.

• Gather, structure, and maintain authorization concepts and account requirements in dedicated documentation tools.

• Contribute to cybersecurity and IAM transformation projects from planning through implementation.

Qualifications

• Confident communication in English and Polish. German is a strong plus.

• Degree in IT security, computer science, business administration, or comparable experience.

• Several years of experience in IT security, IAM, or security consulting.

• Functional understanding of IAM — roles and rights models, authorization concepts, and why they are designed the way they are. We are looking for a conceptual thinker, not a tool specialist.

• Experience engaging directly with application owners and business stakeholders to drive alignment on access models and onboarding paths.

• Familiarity with IAM platforms (e.g., One Identity) is a plus, but not the primary focus.

• Experience working in client-facing consulting or project environments.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Our standard is a hybrid working model with office presence in Katowice at least once per week. Specific arrangements can be discussed during the recruitment process.
