IT Operations Specialist

Summary

The role of IT Operations Specialist aims to enhance operational excellence and performance within the High Risk technology team at Nordea Bank by managing diverse application landscapes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Accept, analyze, and resolve support tickets across Snowflake, Airflow, Jenkins pipelines, and underlying systems.

• Monitor data pipeline performance and system health.

• Conduct proactive system health checks and preventive maintenance.

• Manage incident response during critical issues.

• Troubleshoot complex issues in pre-production and production environments.

• Perform root cause analysis and analyze system logs.

• Document solutions for recurring issues.

• Execute application deployments following ITIL processes.

• Coordinate release activities across environments.

• Manage deployment schedules and communicate with stakeholders.

• Perform post-deployment verification and rollback procedures.

Key Requirements:

• ITIL Foundation certification

• 5+ years in IT operations and support

• Strong knowledge of Snowflake

• Experience with Linux and Windows environments

• Programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Java, C#.)

• Proficiency with DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot

• Proficiency in monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk)
