Detailed description of work task to be carried out:

• Monitoring of Market Abuse Surveillance Systems:
• Collaborate with teams responsible for monitoring trades, orders, and communications to detect market manipulation and insider trading.
• Implement and optimize automated surveillance systems.
• Working with SaaS Systems:
• Manage and maintain software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions, including configuring an external product for market abuse monitoring.
• Data Integration:
• Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to process data from various sources, such as Kafka or database links, and transform it according to the required output file structure.
• Data Analysis and Processing:
• Extract and analyze data from multiple sources to ensure compliance with the surveillance system's requirements.
• Generate and deliver daily data files for surveillance systems.
• Market Abuse Detection:
• Ensure the effectiveness of monitoring tools in identifying suspicious activities related to the financial market.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders:
• Work closely with technical and business teams to ensure the successful implementation and operation of monitoring processes.
• Compliance with Regulations:
• Support actions aligned with legal and regulatory requirements for financial market surveillance.

Description of knowledge and experience:

Along with the requirements engineering skills (being able to elicit, negotiate, document and manage requirements) the following skillset would be good to succeed in the area:

• Prior Knowledge of trading landscape.
• Communication skills, being able to explain items in different ways depending of the audience/stakeholder.
• Previous experience in banking and/or compliance area.
• Data Analyst skillset, basic SQL skills.
• Have prior experience in Requirement management framework.
• IT Landscape knowledge to support with support architecture.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Supporting with vendor negotiation process.
• Know-how of Cloud Solutions is an advantage.
