IoT Hub DevOps Specialist - RFP-245632-1

Summary

The IoT Hub DevOps Specialist will be responsible for the development and maintenance of IoT Hub services on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, device integration, and support documentation, contributing to continuous improvement and effective collaboration with stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain IoT Hub backend and frontend services on Microsoft Azure.

• Implement new features, device integrations, and data pipelines using Azure-native services.

• Integrate various IoT devices with Azure IoT services and maintain data routing to business applications.

• Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging using Azure Monitor and related tools.

• Provide user support and access management for IoT Hub users.

• Collaborate in agile development cycles, code reviews, and team meetings.

• Assist with GCP-to-Azure migration support as needed.

Key Requirements

• Strong programming skills (Node.js/JavaScript, Python, or similar).

• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure-native services for IoT.

• Familiarity with IoT protocols (LoRaWAN, MQTT, HTTPS, Sigfox).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep).

• Knowledge of data storage and analytics on Azure.

• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana).

• Understanding of IAM and cloud security best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience in industrial IoT or manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of device management platforms and digital twin concepts.

• Experience with cloud migration projects, especially to Azure.

Other Details

This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring three days a week in the office, located in Pune. The work hours will align with the CET time zone (9 hours).
