Our client is seeking an Interim Head of IT & Digital to fully oversee the company’s internal IT landscape during a 6-month engagement. This role is highly hands-on and suits someone who excels in execution-focused environments and enjoys operating independently with significant responsibility.

You will serve as the sole internal IT lead, collaborating closely with the business while coordinating with external vendors and managing day-to-day operations, modernization initiatives, and digital enablement across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate comes from a software engineering, infrastructure, or technical DevOps background and has transitioned into a broader IT and digital leadership role. You should be pragmatic and execution-oriented, proactively capable of making independent decisions and building structure where needed.

Key qualifications include:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and modern workplace environments

• Solid technical understanding across infrastructure, cloud platforms, security, devices, integrations, and automation

• Experience collaborating with external IT providers and technology partners

• A modern perspective on AI and digital transformation, including practical insights on how AI will transform workflows, productivity, and business operations

• The ability to convert emerging technology trends into actionable business initiatives

• Strong communication skills and a calm, solution-driven approach

Main Responsibilities

• Own and manage the internal IT setup and daily operations

• Act as the primary point of contact for all IT and digital matters

• Coordinate external vendors, consultants, and service providers

• Drive improvements across infrastructure, security, collaboration tools, and automation

• Support and optimize the Microsoft 365 environment

• Identify AI adoption and digital enablement opportunities across the business

• Ensure stable and scalable IT operations while supporting future technology initiatives
