Head of Transformation
Summary: The Head of Transformation is a senior leadership role responsible for driving large-scale organizational change and operational excellence. This role focuses on the convergence of technology, process optimization, and cultural shifts to ensure the organization remains agile and competitive. You will lead the "big picture" initiatives that redefine how the company operates, innovates, and delivers value to patients in an increasingly digital world.
Key Requirements:
Direct professional experience within the Life Science industry, with a deep understanding of how regulatory requirements (GxP, CSV, and Quality Systems) impact business process transformation and digital adoption.
Minimum of 10-12 years of professional experience, with a proven track record of leading complex, multi-year transformation programs in large, global organizations.
Strong background in Change Management methodologies and the ability to navigate the unique cultural nuances of scientific, medical, and technical professional environments.
Demonstrated ability to align IT, Finance, R&D, and Clinical operations toward a single, cohesive strategic vision.
Exceptional English communication and storytelling skills, essential for gaining executive buy-in and motivating global teams through periods of significant change.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and lead the overarching transformation roadmap, ensuring all initiatives are prioritized based on their impact on scientific innovation and operational agility.
Bridge silos between departments to create seamless, end-to-end business processes that leverage modern technology and data-driven insights.
Establish a Transformation Management Office (TMO) to track progress, manage global budgets, and ensure the realization of expected business benefits.
Act as a senior advisor to the Executive Leadership Team on emerging industry trends and the organizational capabilities required to address them.
Lead organizational design and cultural change initiatives to ensure the company remains agile and receptive to new ways of working within a regulated landscape.
