About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant/Deputy Development Team Lead to support our development (integration) team in delivering excellence.

Reporting to the Senior Team Lead, you will oversee a team of developers, drive alignment with organizational goals, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.

You will support one of the 4 Internal Integration teams (technical support, some development task, and advising/leading).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, promoting collaboration and growth.
• Oversee onboarding and maintain the backlog to reflect priorities.
• Coach the team to remove obstacles, take ownership, and self-organize.
• Inspire and guide the team to achieve high standards.
• Plan and monitor tasks, ensuring alignment with priorities and team capacity.
• Evaluate progress and optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with the Senior Team Lead to maximize team impact.
• Resolve escalations and ensure smooth coordination with stakeholders.
• Communicate goals and achievements transparently.
• Analyse KPI data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
• Stakeholder management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in leading development teams.
• Knowledge of IBM App Connect Enterprise 12+, Java (IBM MQ), Kubernetes, and GIT.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to analyze KPIs and drive performance improvements.
