Requested Consultant Profile
We are looking for a senior consultant with:
• Deep expertise within Workday Compensation / Advanced Compensation
• Strong understanding of payroll-related HR processes
• Experience with complex compensation models and calculation logic
• Experience reviewing and assessing existing Workday solutions
• Ability to challenge solution design from a best practice perspective
• Strong analytical and advisory capabilities
• Quick understanding of an existing setup
Engagement Model
• Estimated scope apprx 40-80 hours
• Estimated duration 1-2 weeks
• Start as soon as possible
• Work from office in Stockholm
Background
As part of the ongoing HR and Payroll transformation initiative, Workday has been implemented in Denmark to support local HR and payroll processes.
Following go-live and subsequent stabilization activities, challenges have been identified related to:
• Compensation setup and salary calculation logic
• Conversion from hourly-based tariffs to monthly salary models
• Contract template calculations and document generation
• Handling of employment changes and hiring scenarios
• Stability and predictability of compensation-related outputs
In some scenarios, the current solution:
• produces incorrect monthly salary values,
• does not reflect expected changes correctly,
• or requires complementary manual/semi-manual handling outside the standard Workday flow.
As a result, the client is seeking an independent expert review of the current system setup and solution design.
Important Scope Clarification
• The purpose of this assignment is to assess the current Workday setup from a functional and technical perspective
• Recommend a best-practice based solution

Objective of the Assignment
The purpose of the assignment is to perform an independent expert assessment of the current Workday Compensation setup in Denmark in order to:
• Verify that the current configuration supports intended business requirements and payroll processes
• Assess whether the solution follows Workday best practices
• Identify configuration gaps, risks, inconsistencies, or technical limitations, bugs and possible data problems
• Evaluate the sustainability and robustness of the current setup
• Analyse how compensation calculations behave across different business scenarios
• Assess dependencies between Compensation, contract templates, and employment processes
• Recommend improvements and alternative solution approaches
• Provide a clear recommendation for the preferred way forward
