Due to continued growth, we are hiring an Identity & Access Management Engineer/Architect to join our client in Dublin. Our consultancy specializes in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors.

You will design, implement, and evolve modern identity solutions across cloud and hybrid environments. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), IAM/IGA platforms, and modern authentication standards.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

Identity & Access Management

• Design, implement, and operate IAM solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

• Manage users and service accounts across cloud and hybrid environments

• Configure and maintain:

  • Conditional Access policies

  • MFA and passwordless authentication

  • Identity Protection policies

• Support B2B and B2C identity scenarios

• Implement identity lifecycle management (Joiner–Mover–Leaver)

IAM/IGA Platforms

• Work with EmpowerID or similar platforms (e.g. SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity)

• Design and manage:

  • Role-based access models and entitlements

  • Approval workflows and access governance

  • Automated provisioning and de-provisioning processes

  •  

Architecture & Integrations

• Design identity architectures (centralized, federated, hybrid)

• Apply Zero Trust security principles

• Implement and support:

  • SSO integrations using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect

  • Federated identity solutions

• Create and maintain architectural documentation:

  • High-Level Designs (HLD)

  • Low-Level Designs (LLD)

  • Architecture diagrams and decision records

Cloud & Security

• Work within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, with a strong focus on identity and security services

• Apply security best practices:

  • Least privilege

  • Separation of duties

  • Identity governance and compliance

• Support audits and access reviews (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR – conceptual understanding required)

Automation & Tooling

• Automate IAM processes using:

  • PowerShell

  • REST APIs

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform) is a plus

• Work with ITSM and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, security, or related infrastructure roles

• Proven project experience (not only operations):

  • Greenfield IAM implementations

  • Migrations (on-premises to cloud, hybrid environments)

  • Identity consolidation across multiple systems

• Strong analytical and architectural thinking

• Ability to work cross-functionally with:

  • Security teams

  • Development teams

  • Business, HR, and compliance stakeholders

• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language

• High level of ownership, independence, and accountability

Opportunity type: Initial 3-month contract (possibility of extension), Hybrid in Dublin
