HSE Advisor / Trainer - (m/w/d)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and competent HSE Trainer / Train-the-Trainer for a LNG Project in Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective, field-oriented HSE trainings to a multinational blue-collar workforce working on-site. This role requires more than just classroom instruction — we are looking for a hands-on safety professional who can connect with the workforce, communicate across language and cultural barriers, and deliver impactful, practical training sessions that lead to measurable safety improvements on site.
Location: Brunsbüttel, Germany – LNG Construction Site
Languages Required: English & German (fluency in both is mandatory)
Contract Type: Project-based
Reports To: Project HSE Manager
Start Date: Immediate or as soon as possible
Main Responsibilities:
• Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions for site supervisors, foremen, and HSE representatives.
• Deliver HSE trainings and refresher sessions to field personnel from multiple nationalities.
• Translate safety concepts into practical, real-world examples understood by all workforce levels.
• Support and implement the site’s Training & Competence Development Plan in line with project HSE objectives.
• Develop and update training materials, visual aids, and multilingual presentations as needed.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs, and competence assessment data.
• Participate actively in toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and field coaching activities.
• Identify unsafe behaviors or knowledge gaps and initiate corrective training measures.
• Report to the Project HSE Manager and coordinate with the HSE and operations teams on all training-related activities.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as an HSE trainer, preferably in construction or industrial settings.
Strong communication skills in both English and German.
Hands-on experience in delivering safety training in a multicultural environment.
Ability to develop training materials and conduct assessments.
Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Capable of engaging and motivating a diverse workforce.
Nice to Have:
Certification in Train-the-Trainer programs.
Experience with LNG projects or similar industries.
Familiarity with digital training platforms and tools.
Other Details:
This is a project-based position located at a construction site in Germany. The successful candidate is expected to start immediately or as soon as possible. The role involves active engagement with field personnel and a commitment to enhancing safety performance across the site.
