About the role: we are looking for a Global IS Operations Manager Corporate, who will oversee IS support and application maintenance, ensuring system performance and reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and Maintenance Activities:
- Managing standard service requests and providing level 2 support (level 1 handled by Help Desk), alongside conducting corrective maintenance (level 3).
- Piloting AMS contracts and overseeing various related activities.
- Monitoring system KPIs to anticipate issues and optimizing license usage as part of preventive maintenance.
- Executing small-scale evolutions (<10 man-days per change) by conducting business analysis, deploying updates, and measuring the actual value delivered.
- Coordinating release management to ensure smooth deployment of system changes in collaboration with project leaders and managers.
- Management Responsibilities:
- Supporting the team in problem-solving by guiding and orienting them effectively.
- Managing knowledge by ensuring the implementation and continuous improvement of standards and enhancing team skills.
- Monitoring KPIs related to security and quality to ensure compliance and performance.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Managing the IS Support & Applications Maintenance team for assigned domains to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability across business groups.
- Collaborating closely with D&IS teams and business stakeholders to integrate, implement, and support applications within the assigned scope.
- Monitoring application usage and performance, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring adherence to agreed-upon KPIs and SLAs.
- Being accountable for managing standard requests, corrective actions, and small evolutions in the application landscape.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in IS or Engineering School with IT specialization or equivalent.
- At least 7-10 years of experience in functional domain, with managerial role.
- Corporate domain experience: Finance (Treasury, Reporting, Accounting; …), HR System (SAP Success Factor, Payroll, T&A systems), Legal, Purchasing.
- Proven track record in managing application support and operations at a global level.
- Experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Knowledge of enterprise applications, systems integration, and business processes
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices in the context of enterprise applications.
- Customer-centric, “go & see” mindset to understand problems and deep-dive when necessary.
- Leader (for his team and transversally), organized.
- Able to work with multicultural teams (esp. India).
- Very good English.
