German Speaking Product Owner / Technical Project Support

We're supporting a leading European software provider serving highly regulated industries in finding a German Speaking Product Owner / Technical Project Coordinator to join a strategic migration and transformation initiative. This is an opportunity to become part of an international team driving the modernization of critical business systems while working closely with technical and business stakeholders across the organization.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll act as the bridge between business and technology, taking ownership of a key migration stream while ensuring operational continuity throughout the transformation journey.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as Product Owner for a technical team and managing priorities across multiple stakeholders

• Supporting the migration from legacy systems to a modern target platform

• Coordinating transformation activities and ensuring smooth delivery across workstreams

• Collaborating with business and technical teams to define requirements and drive execution

• Supporting Java-related applications and technical processes

• Managing documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communications

• Maintaining and analysing Excel-based tracking and reporting tools

• Supporting customer maintenance activities and ensuring high data quality standards

• Maintaining customer master data and related records

• Taking ownership of PMO-related activities, including project coordination, reporting, meeting preparation, and follow-up actions

What we're looking for

• Fluent German (C1/C2 level or native proficiency)

• Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Technical Project Coordinator, or similar role

• Experience supporting migration, transformation, or system modernization projects

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Ability to work independently while coordinating multiple priorities

• Experience working within technical environments and cross-functional teams

• Good understanding of software development processes and Java-based applications

• Advanced Excel skills and strong documentation capabilities

• Strong organizational and project coordination skills
