We are looking for a senior, highly experienced Umbraco Developer to take ownership of an existing technical solution and help us regain full control of the platform through reverse engineering and modernization.

The current frontend is built with Vue.js, though we are open to alternative frameworks if you can clearly justify the approach.

Due to the lack of existing technical documentation, this role requires someone confident working in legacy codebases, able to understand complex systems, and comfortable making architectural decisions quickly.

Main Responsibilities:

• To maintain and enhance Umbraco-based solutions, ensuring scalability and performance.

• Perform reverse engineering of existing code for better understanding and control.

• Debug and troubleshoot existing application issues.

• Upgrade Umbraco with the latest features and maintain compatibility.

• Collaborate with other team members to identify and prioritize new features.

Key Requirements:

• C# & .NET (Latest Versions): Proficiency in .NET 9/10 and understanding of asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and LINQ.

• ASP.NET Core MVC: Expertise in working with MVC architecture.

• Database Management: Proficiency in SQL Server, familiarity with SQLite, and Azure SQL.

• Umbraco-Specific Expertise: Skills in Content Modeling, Backoffice Customization, and Templating with Razor.

• Modern JavaScript: Experience with ES6+ and frameworks like Vue.js or React.

• HTML5 & CSS/SCSS: Abilities in building responsive and accessible interfaces.

Nice to Have:

• Understanding of Examine & Lucene.net for search features.

• Experience with Umbraco API Knowledge.

• Familiarity with modern editing tools in Umbraco.
