Fullstack Power BI Developer

Role Overview

In the role of Data & Analytics Specialist, you will work with various portfolio companies to interpret data and transform it into actionable insights, ultimately enhancing business decision-making. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in Data & Analytics initiatives within a private equity context, interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

As a member of the Operations Advisory team, you will lead efforts to design and develop reporting tools, dashboards, data pipelines, and portals. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying data needs and providing strategic recommendations through detailed reporting.

Main Responsibilities

Your core duties will include:

• Supporting Nordic Capital portfolio companies in establishing Data & Analytics capabilities.

• Building and maintaining company-wide BI solutions, data pipelines, and a data dictionary.

• Understanding internal data source systems and ensuring data quality.

• Performing monitoring and quality checks on data.

• Engaging in travel across Europe and North America as needed.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and optimization.

• Ability to acquire data from various sources while maintaining databases.

• Experience in identifying and revising reporting requirements.

• Skills in data filtering and cleansing processes.

• Capacity to identify new process improvement opportunities.

• Proficiency in handling confidential data according to guidelines.

• Technical expertise in data storage, mining, and cleansing.

Education and Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or Economics.

• Experience with modern data technologies, particularly Microsoft products like Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and SQL Server.

• A curious mindset with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.

• Analytical capabilities with the ability to handle large datasets.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Other Details

This role may involve travel, as the portfolio spans across Europe and North America. The position requires a dedicated approach to establishing and maintaining high standards of Data & Analytics management.
