Expert Cloud Public GCP

Introduction & Summary

Context: Strategic reinforcement of the Cloud team within the Infrastructure & Operations department.

We are looking for a GCP Expert capable of managing the extension of the Landing Zone, supporting the migration of workloads from our private cloud to GCP, ensuring the operation (MCO/MCS) of the hyperscaler, and developing the skills of internal directors. This is a high-visibility mission within a structuring program of the Group.

Main Responsibilities

Core duties include:

• Design & deployment of the evolutions of the existing Landing Zone.

• Setting up necessary services to host IaaS infrastructures.

• Reinforcement of elements: IAM, security, governance, networking, monitoring.

• Compliance with Google "Cloud Foundation/Landing Zone" best practices.

• Coordination among internal project team, GCP integrator, Infrastructure & Operations teams, and CISO Team.

• Execution and optimization of technical migrations.

• Writing of target architectures, runbooks, migration guides.

• Documentation and continuous updating of operations and architectural documentation.

• Enhancement Technical support for internal administrators.

• Facilitation of technical workshops.

Key Requirements

• Expertise in GCP including IAM, VPC, interconnect/VPN, firewalling.

• Proficiency in Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, and FileStore.

• Experience with Landing Zone, secure architecture, and organization/folders/policies.

• Familiarity with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Proven experience in the administration of the GCP platform.

• Strong technical leadership skills.

• Clear & educational communication abilities.

• Strong teamwork mindset, rigor, and methodical approach.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of FinOps and cost optimization strategies.

• Previous experience in mentoring or leading workshops.

• Experience in advanced troubleshooting techniques during migration phases.
