Enterprise Architecture BA

The role of the Senior Technical BA is crucial for supporting the Enterprise Architecture (EA) function in assessing and managing project demands across various business and technical teams. This position reports to the Head of EA and focuses on evaluating project requests, gathering requirements, and ensuring that architectural insights are integrated early in the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for new project or change requests, collaborating with stakeholders to define scope and high-level requirements.

• Collaborate with architects to conduct impact assessments and feasibility reviews for new projects.

• Translate business and functional needs into precise technical inputs for the EA team.

• Maintain a demand intake pipeline to prioritize initiatives and ensure timely engagement with Enterprise Architecture.

• Engage subject matter experts (SMEs) across various domains as per project requirements.

• Coordinate and document architecture assessments and initial recommendations.

• Produce key project artifacts including initiation briefs and requirement summaries.

• Contribute to governance processes such as architectural reviews and demand trend reporting.

Key Requirements:

• Strong experience as a Technical or Solution Business Analyst in large IT environments.

• Proficiency in enterprise IT architecture domains (infrastructure, cloud, data, application, security).

• Experience engaging with cross-functional technical and business teams.

• Familiarity with architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).

• Ability to communicate technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with advanced architecture modeling tools.

• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.

• Project management experience.
