Enterprise Architect (Dynamics 365)

We’re building a new architecture team for a major Dynamics 365 transformation — a greenfield initiative that will shape the digital future of one of Europe’s leading organisations.

As an Enterprise Architect, you’ll have the authority, freedom, and influence to define how this transformation unfolds — working closely with senior stakeholders, Microsoft, and a top-tier Systems Integrator.

This is your chance to lead from day one, establish architectural principles, and ensure the solution is scalable, secure, and ready for the future.

Role Overview:

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring all components (Dynamics 365, integrations, data, security, etc.) align with our enterprise principles and eco-system, including Snowflake, Genesys, systems of record, and digital platforms.

• Act as the design authority within the Design & Foundations workstream, making or arbitrating architecture decisions, and balancing out-of-the-box ambitions with business needs and technical realities. Chair our Technical Design Authority, comprising architects from both our organisation and the SI.

• Build strong relationships with business workstreams to ensure they fully understand and leverage the capabilities of Dynamics 365, are aware of risks and opportunities, and that their needs are reflected in the architectural approach.

• Collaborate closely with solution and data architects to ensure robust integration, data migration, and security design, particularly across two core legal entities and sensitive partner data.

• Engage with all stakeholders, including the SI, internal teams, Microsoft, digital teams, and other relevant parties, to ensure the solution is fit for purpose and future-proof.

• Represent the programme at architecture boards and governance forums, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and effective risk management.

• Guide and mentor internal teams, supporting capability development and knowledge transfer.

• Own the integration and data strategy, ensuring seamless connectivity with other platforms and a robust data model.

• Ensure the solution is scalable and future-ready, supporting ongoing digital evolution and business growth.

  
  

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience in enterprise architecture, with at least 5 years leading Dynamics 365 CRM transformations.

• Multiple end-to-end D365 CRM implementations (ideally 3+ at enterprise scale, across financial service/insurance industries).

• Experience facing off to SIs (e.g., Accenture, Capgemini, Avanade, Hitachi Solutions) and Microsoft (including escalation, roadmap discussions, and technical deep-dives).

• Strong governance and stakeholder management: Has chaired architecture boards, led design authorities, and managed complex stakeholder landscapes.

• Deep technical knowledge: Integration, data migration, security, and cloud architecture.

• Representing the best interest of the company whilst performing the key role and mentoring the internal team and holding SI to account.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills: Able to arbitrate between business, SI, and Microsoft, and influence at C-level.

• Maximising the use of out-of-the-box capabilities while ensuring seamless integration with our eco-system, including Snowflake, Genesys, systems of record, and digital platforms.

• Migrating all interfaces and data from our legacy on-premise CRM.

• Decommissioning back-office systems and redesigning processes to create a unified experience across two core legal entities.

• Addressing complex integration requirements across multiple platforms.

• Enhancing foundational capabilities such as workforce management, case management, telephony, and AI-enabled capabilities.

• Implementing robust security and data governance to protect sensitive data, including partner information.

• Building strong internal capability to support ongoing operations.

• Ensuring the solution is scalable and future-ready.
