DevOps System Administrator

Location: Gdańsk, Gdynia or Warsaw

Hybrid model: 1 day in the office

Contract: B2B

Rate: up to 175 pln net/h

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps System Administrator with extensive experience in managing and deploying applications across multiple environments including development, integration, and production. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, alongside proficiency in monitoring tools and container technologies. Strong communication skills are essential in collaborating within a team-oriented environment.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

• Integrate application packages from developers and deploy them using our deployment tools.

• Engage in debugging and issue resolution across all environments.

• Administer Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS) in high-availability setups.

• Manage environmental configurations and perform regular patch updates.

• Migrate WLS code and support testing activities related to WLS.

• Utilize project management tools effectively for collaboration.

Key Requirements

• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Jenkins.

• Strong understanding of IBM MQ and Apache Kafka.

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Expertise in Oracle WebLogic Server and relevant configurations.

• Knowledge of SOA/OSB in Oracle 12c.

• Excellent skills in repository management tools like GIT, BitBucket, and Artifactory.

• Exceptional communication abilities in English.

• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with build tools such as Ant and Maven.

• Basic programming knowledge in Unix/Linux shell.

• Understanding of ITIL practices and Remedy.
