DevOps Engineer (with GCP)

Summary: The main purpose of this role is to leverage GCP capabilities to enhance the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and improve developer workflow efficiency through automation and deployment solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Delivering change to production daily.

• Building and maintaining distributed containerized platforms in production.

• Reviewing, designing, and re-engineering processes with new technologies to improve performance.

• Supporting knowledge sharing in the GCP space to enhance team skills.

• Working closely with a globally distributed team for ongoing product support and development.

• Collaborating with the development team and product owners to address business needs through tailored solutions.

• Providing production support for the daily operation of developed products.

Key Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proficiency in Python and Groovy.

• Experience with Observability tools like AppDynamics and Datadog.

• Strong knowledge of Jenkins for automation tasks.

• Experience with infrastructure patching and vulnerability management.

• JVM tuning skills for application troubleshooting and performance optimization.

• Familiarity with REST architecture.

• Understanding of Clean Code principles.

Nice to Have:

• JVM tuning skills add value by improving application performance and troubleshooting efficiency.

• REST architecture knowledge can enhance integration capabilities of developed solutions.
