Dev-Ops Release Manager
Summary: The role of the Dev-Ops Release Manager is to design and manage the CI/CD pipeline for Salesforce and Mobile applications, ensuring smooth release processes and collaboration among stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
* Responsible for designing the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline infrastructure using GitLab CI/CD for all Salesforce and Mobile with all relevant stakeholders.
* Lead the release planning process across all environments (Non-production and Production).
* Work with team on release schedules and scope.
* Manage dependencies and risks across releases.
* Change Management - ensure all changes are documented and approved.
* Maintain version control and release documentation.
* Automation & CI/CD Oversight.
* Configure the existing Dev-Ops Setup.
* Oversee CI/CD pipelines and ensure automated testing and deployment, static code checks for mobile & SF.
* Track release progress and provide status updates to stakeholders.
* Analyze release metrics and post-release performance.
* Handle release failures and coordinate rollbacks if needed.
* Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
* Monitor & Post-Release Support on Deployments.
* Deploy hotfixes and emergency patches if needed.
Key Requirements:
* Degree in engineering, preferably in information technology or computer science.
* 6+ years of experience in Dev-Ops (IBM ALM, GIT, Gitlab CI, Gitlab Runner, Artifactory Jfrog, VDE, software installation on Runner, Windows & Linux Server).
* Knowledge of working on Salesforce and mobile Dev-Ops.
* Automation and scripting experience with at least one scripting language for CI.
* Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
* Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate complex releases.
* Experience with monitoring tools.
* Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Nice to Have:
* Previous experience in managing large scale Dev-Ops environments.
* Understanding of cloud deployment platforms like AWS or Azure.
* Relevant certifications in Dev-Ops or Agile methodologies.
