Denodo Consultant

Introduction & Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Denodo Consultant with over 4 years of relevant experience in Denodo Administration & Development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing and implementing Denodo VDP schemas and views, as well as having a strong background in data virtualization solutions aligned with business requirements. Essential skills include performance tuning of Denodo environments and working with various data connectors.

Main Responsibilities:

The Denodo Consultant will primarily focus on the development and optimization of data virtualization solutions.

• Develop and implement Denodo VDP schemas and views.
• Work with APIs to extract and ingest data.
• Design and implement data virtualization solutions.
• Ensure performance tuning of the Denodo environment.
• Utilize various data connectors (SAP HANA, BW, SQL, RestAPIs).
• Understand and apply data integration, modeling, transformation, and visualization techniques.
• Develop application & data models using complex and optimized queries.
• Troubleshoot application performance issues.
• Provide guidelines and best practices for Denodo usage.
• Maintain a solid understanding of databases and reporting queries.

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Denodo Administration & Development.
• Strong knowledge of Denodo’s various virtualization offerings.
• Experience in performance tuning Denodo environments.
• Working knowledge of data connectors such as SAP HANA, BW, SQL, and RestAPIs.
• In-depth understanding of data integration, data modeling, transformation, and visualization.
• Ability to troubleshoot Application performance issues.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and other BI solutions (e.g., Power BI) is an added advantage.
• Solid understanding of database technologies and reporting queries.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of different data connections & data sources, API integration.
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile development environment.
• Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Qliksense, PowerBI) is a plus.

This position may include remote work options and is suitable for candidates accustomed to dynamic and collaborative environments. Experience in the BI industry and familiarity with agile methodologies will be advantageous.
