Data Scientist (MLOps)- part-time job

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join an IT Retail team and support a key area covering AI technology, infrastructure, and forecasting models.

This role is ideal for someone who combines a strong data science background with hands-on experience in MLOps, forecasting, and Azure-based environments, and who is comfortable working in a collaborative, business-facing setup.

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: until April 2027+ extension

• Allocation: 50%, with the possibility to scale up

• Budget: 170-195 zł/h

Responsibilities:

• Drive and support MLOps initiatives within the team.

• Develop, implement, and improve forecasting models.

• Manage and work with Azure Infrastructure supporting data science operations.

• Contribute to the development of Databricks Apps (Streamlit).

• Work with Databricks Asset Bundles where relevant.

• Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and continuity during the maternity coverage period.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and the wider team to support ongoing AI and modelling initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience in MLOps.

• Strong mathematical background, especially in forecasting.

• Solid experience with Azure Infrastructure.

• Familiarity with Databricks Apps / Streamlit.

• Knowledge of Databricks Asset Bundles.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of the area.

Nice to have:

• Experience with advanced machine learning techniques.

• Familiarity with additional data science tools, frameworks, and modern AI ecosystems.
