Data Quality Tester for SAP Master Data

Other: The selected consultant will report to the Data Quality Product Manager and the Project Manager. All access to company systems will adhere to policies of least privilege during the engagement.

About the role: we are on the lookout for a skilled Data Quality Tester to assist with the testing of Data Quality (DQ) rules for SAP master data in the Supply Chain area. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of data used in our planning processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in SAP systems and data validation processes. You will work closely with our internal teams and stakeholders while adhering to established testing standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducting thorough testing of DQ rules to ensure accuracy in SAP master data.
• Testing DQ Rules: Validating the accuracy and reliability of implemented DQ rules.
• Data Validation: Conducting validation of data sources to rectify data quality issues.
• Issue Identification: Identifying discrepancies in data and reporting anomalies.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of testing processes and results.
• Collaboration: Working with various teams to integrate DQ rules seamlessly.
• Compliance: Ensuring adherence to testing standards and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficiency in SAP data sets (Material Master, Purchase Info Record, Source Lists).
• Experience in data testing within SAP environments.
• Familiarity with Informatica IDMC for testing DQ rules.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data quality issues.
• Experience with PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of SAP master data and production planning modules.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration for data quality testing.
