Summary:

The Data Privacy Manager supports all pillars of the data strategy focused on data privacy and HCIB. This role aims to ensure compliance with data privacy laws, reduce risks, and enhance the overall efficiency of data operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data privacy laws and internal policies, collaborating with Data Protection Officers and Risk Stewards.

• Support Businesses to ensure alignment with Non-Financial Risk Framework.

• Work from Europe region to ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations.

• Identify and mitigate data privacy risks, track action progress, and provide visibility to the Data & Analytics team.

• Support the development and delivery of data privacy controls, ensuring accurate documentation.

• Provide training and develop educational materials for the Europe region to enhance awareness of data privacy laws.

• Identify areas for improvement in managing data privacy locally and regionally.

Key Requirements:

• Analytical thinking with attention to detail.

• Strong people skills to engage with various stakeholders effectively.

• Experience in data privacy and knowledge of European data protection laws, including GDPR.

• Ability to identify and mitigate privacy risks.

• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient communication skills to articulate complex issues clearly.
