Data & Integration Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Evolve the solution design for the Financial Crime Data Hub (FCDH), including

• Detailing the GFCP cross domain data architecture.
• Linking of FCDH to non-Hadoop upstream and downstream strategic GFCP applications, for example FACP and NetViz.
• Assist in guiding DPP towards GDMO.
• Details solution design with Cloud technalogies like AWS.
• Anchor data management practices and governance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experienced with integration architecture, common enterprise application integration patterns to support batch, real-time and near-real-time data integration, and related integration technologies.
• Experience of working with architecture and technology implementation of enterprise solution architecture.
• Experience from using big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark and associated toolchain) to support massive processing of large data volumes with demanding non-functional requirements (performance, availability, resilience).
• Experience from cloud-based big data platforms (AWS).
• Experienced with technical architecture and understanding of modern application stacks incorporating both open-source and 3rd party vendor technologies.
• Understanding of data and information architecture including data modelling and experience with common data management technologies.
• Business domain experience from Financial Crime Prevention is an advantage.
