Data Analyst
We are now looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our User Data team as our current Data Analysts will go on parental leave. This position is offered in Stockholm and will be starting 11th of May 2026 to end of January 2027.
What will you do in this role?
In this role, you will work embedded with our Front Pages product team, which is responsible for building the front pages of some of the largest news destinations in the nordics, visited by millions of users every day. You will:
Turn raw events into clarity - Distill billions of daily events on our front pages into valuable insights about what drives engagement without compromising the journalistic mission.
Own the metrics - Define and maintain source-of-truth dashboards for content exposure, click rates, and front page composition.
Identify issues proactively - Proactively surface anomalies (e.g., glitches in layout, trouble with new features) and partner with engineering to test fixes.
Drive experimentation - Design A/B tests on layout tweaks, reskins, and personalized features; measure impact on conversion, engagement, and retention.
Champion data literacy - Enable self-serve analytics for product and editorial stakeholders; coach teams on reading dashboards and setting KPls.
Keep us compliant - Work with Privacy, Legal, and Data Governance to make sure consent metrics reflect GDPR and local regulations.
Who you are:
You enjoy analysing data and always link insights to an outcome. To you, data is not just rows and columns, but actually journeys and drivers. You're motivated by meaningful, measurable improvements like a higher CTR or fixing tracking issues, and you will work towards continuous improvements together with your team.
You are curious and collaborative, eager to understand root causes and explore them with your PM, engineer and UX-designer to continuously improve our products.
What we are looking for:
You have experience as a data analyst, product owner or data-savvy project manager, and you know what it takes to develop great data products in complex organizations.
+5 years of hands-on experience in data analytics, product analytics, or growth analytics for consumer-facing digital products
Advanced SQL skills and comfort exploring millions of events in Snowflake (or similar cloud DWH)
Fluency in Superset, Tableau, Amplitude, or equivalent BI tools; you can craft intuitive dashboards and narrate the "so what"
Working knowledge of experiment design and statistical evaluation.
Curiosity about web development and good UX, and a basic grasp of GDPR/consent frameworks.
