Introduction & Summary
We are seeking a Dana Analyst who excels in IT analysis and data modeling to support development teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a solid understanding of business processes. They will facilitate collaborations across stakeholders to design effective, sustainable solutions. A passion for data and problem-solving is essential.
Main Responsibilities
Perform IT analysis and investigative data analysis to support development teams.
Drive functional and non-functional requirements work involving multiple stakeholders.
Ensure alignment and transparency of requirements between IT and business teams.
Build an understanding of business processes and technical aspects of our solutions.
Understand and analyze the data model and its consumption by development teams.
Key Requirements
Strong analytical thinking.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills in English.
Passion for data analysis, problem-solving, and requirements elicitation.
Solid business and technical background.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and ability to work in diverse teams.
Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and quality focused.
Able to grow in the role as assignments evolve.
Team player with the capacity for independent work.
Experience in relational database design and querying.
Proficiency in Big Data platforms and technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and pySpark.
Familiarity with JSON/AVRO data formats.
Skilled in defining business and technical requirements clearly.
Experience in at least one programming language: Python, R, or Java.
Utilization of Jira and Bitbucket for project tracking.
Background in requirement analysis in data-related areas.
Able to collaborate effectively with development teams.
Nice to Have
Finance background and/or banking experience preferred.
