Customer Data Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a high-impact data transformation initiative within a leading financial institution. This role focuses on cleansing, standardizing, and enhancing customer and entity data to improve data integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency. The consultant will play a key role in industry code remediation, contributing to the development of a new database/platform for customer and client data.

Key Requirements:

• Banking industry experience, with a strong understanding of financial data structures and compliance requirements.
• Proven expertise in customer data and entity data management, including data reconciliation and standardization.
• Basic SQL knowledge to create and execute queries for data validation.
• Strong experience in MS Excel, including data handling, pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Ability to conduct external research, leveraging sources like Google and annual reports to analyze entity relationships.
• Experience in creating process documentation and SOPs, ensuring structured workflows and compliance.
• Good stakeholder management skills, with experience in reference data analysis and corporate entity structures.
• Experience with Atlassian Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
